The absolute best age for a newborn photoshoot is between 6 and 12 days old.

‌After two weeks, babies will typically start spending longer periods awake and we might be unable to manage some beautiful curly newborn poses.

Don't worry if you don't feel strong enough after giving birth. More than half of new mums come to me after cesarean but this isn't a big problem as during your session you'll mainly rest while I am taking care of your baby.

‌Ideally, you need to book during pregnancy as my diary fills very quickly, and I can’t guarantee late availability‌.

If your baby is late or early your session will be rescheduled, you'll only need to keep me updated.

It is still possible to create beautifully posed newborn photographs after two weeks of age, and many photographers (myself included) will photograph older babies (sometimes I do manage even 8-week-old babies, but you should know that mainly wrapped, unposed and awake poses can be handled).



EVERY BABY, AT ANY AGE, DESERVES TO HAVE SOME CUTE PICTURES!

1 simple white outfit, hat/tieback

This style is probably a little bit on the fence, a more natural approach to baby photography. This is where I will photograph your baby, just the way they are, in their natural sleeping positions, their yawns, the way they just cuddle onto your chest. This is about your baby, not my props, so it'll be all white/cream.

Good choice for 3+ weeks babies as it doesn't require classic posing.
